In 1994, Barry became a shareholder at CK Business Solutions, P.C. He is head of the Accounting and Auditing Department and is responsible for quality control matters within the firm. Barry’s diverse background is an asset in providing his specialized skills in auditing, accounting, tax, consulting, litigation support, due diligence assistance with mergers -acquisitions, and financing assistance. He has 20 years of public accounting experience in the areas of financial institutions, manufacturing, health care and most closely held businesses.

Barry graduated with honors from Jacksonville State University in 1985. He was the recipient of several scholarships including the Trathen Accounting Scholarship, the Alabama Society of CPA’s scholarships and the Faculty Scholar Academic Scholarship. Barry is also a member of the Alabama Society of CPA’s and he is a member of the AICPA.

Barry was a charter member of the Rotary Club of Boaz and has served as President, Treasurer, and Board Member. In 2002, he was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow. He currently serves in the Albertville Rotary Club. Barry is also an active member of the Albertville Chamber of Commerce, where he currently serves as Past Chairman of the board of directors.

Barry has also served various local soccer organizations through board membership, coaching, officiating and fund raising.

Barry is married to the former Leigh Ann Rogers. They have four children; Austin, Chloe, Ellie, and Zach. The Kennedy’s are active members of Albertville First Baptist Church.
